La liga : Race to the finish line

Start of the season everyone expected Barcelona to win the league. In between they expected Real Madrid to win the league and now no one has a clue who they can actually expect to win the league. La liga hasn't had such a nail biting finish to the season for a pretty long time but now with Mourinho Real look just a different side.
This season its not just the league but also the golden boot fight between Ronaldo and Messi. Ronaldo leading with a goal to Messi. Both players say its not about the boot they just want the team to win but we all know that both want to beat each other and get the golden boot.

Fight 1 --->

Fight 2--->

Now according to me its gonna end one all. Real would win the league and messi would get the golden boot.
Real have a 4 point lead on Barcelona and also a mouth watering clash between the two spanish giants coming up this week. Even if Barcalona win that game Real wouldn't give away the one point lead.Barcelona have won the league the last three years under Guardiola and Real wouldn't want Barcelona touching their 31 titles in the league. Barcelona have won the league 21 times. Ten titles is a lot to cover up but Messi is just 24 years old. This is the spanish Wrestlemania with two rivalries. These two teams could make it a third big clash if both reach the finals of Champions League if Real beats Bayern and also Barcelona prevail over Chelsea.
So till the end of the season keep your comments and views coming in who you would think would win these fights. Clash of the titans i would say.

Champions League: Semi-Final draw

Its been Really long since UAIA have been out of action and we are here for all latest gossips and news for our fans reading this out there. This post is mainly to brief you about the semi final draws of the champions league 2011-2012.

The Draws :

Semi-final 1 : Bayern Munich vs Real Madrird.

A tough match to call seeing the way both the teams have been playing. According to uaia Bayern are the favourites as the finals will be played at the Allianz arena and even though Madrid have Mourinho i don't see them getting through and beating bayern this year at least. Whatever happens it will be a hard fought fight and both teams would go out all guns blazing. Just lets hope the better team wins.

Semi-final 2 : Chelsea vs Barcelona.

Every one around the world would be pretty sure that it would just be a formality for Barcelona. They have a definite reason to think that seeing Chelsea's form in the league. They just can't pull off a comfortable win. No player in top form in chelsea and its going to be really hard for them to reach the finals. Chelsea have to beware of messi's form who is scoring at approximately two goals a match and no one is able to control that little magician. Still you can't count chelsea out of this as you see last time they played Chelsea nearly knocked out Barcelona, the time when Chelsea didn't get there three penalties. Its going to be really hard for Chelsea and pretty comfortable for Barcelona but we've had many shocks this season in the Champions League, lets see if we get one here.

Top Transfers

As we all know that the time before the season begins is the most exciting time of all - The Transfer Period. At the beginning of this season some hot transfers have been made.

  •  Samir Nasri  (Arsenal-Manchester City)                                                                                                                                          One of Arsenals favourites and top players Samir Nasri  has confirmed our suspicions of his move out of Arsenal to Manchester City for 22 mill. pounds. This was a big blow to Arsenal as his absence in Arsenals second Premier League match against Liverpool was clearly seen as they lost to them at home 0-2.
  • Ashley Young (Aston Villa-Manchester United)                                                                                       25 year old Aston Villa winger and striker has moved to last season winners Manchester United he said that his move was "fantastic" and  "It's a chance to... hopefully become part of the history by helping to win the 20th title."  he also said that an offer from such a big club was one that he couldn't turn down. He has proved his worth by helping Manchester United to begin by two wins ; worth  six points.
  • Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal-Barcelona)                                                                                                  It is undoubted that the biggest and the saddest transfer would be move of Arsenal skipper Fabregas to the club of his youth FC Barcelona for £175m. His absence was felt at Arsenal's 0-2 loss to Liverpool at The Emirates Stadium(this was the first time since 2000 that Arsenal is loosing to Liverpool) which has put the fourteenth in the table which of course is not a great start to the season. After his move Fabregas said that "it's the toughest challenge of my life" he also owed a great deal of thanks to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
